RNF Construction is an owner-managed general contractor construction company, whose principals have a combined 100 years of general contracting, construction management, and construction problem-solving experience.

We specialize in bonded bid work for local governments and public institutions, though we are willing to negotiate public work and private work.

We have bonding capacity up to $3 million per job but have taken on jobs as small as $10,000 to help build relations with and/or accommodate our existing customers. 

Our sweet spot is in the $200,000 to $1 million range.

Our licenses allow us to build commercial buildings up to 4 floors and to perform all levels of civil operations, including:

• clearing

• grading

• site utilities

• paving

• sidewalks

• landscaping.

Based in York, SC, we primarily work as general contractors in York and in nearby North and South Carolina counties, though we have traveled as far east as the coast.

We also serve as subcontractors to other general contractors.

​

We are flexible in our approach and are known for our ability to take on and deliver a variety of jobs as diverse as:

• Building Rock Hill’s Riverwalk boat launch,

• Total modernization of Clover’s aging wastewater treatment plant,

• Performing a highly technical wet tap on a York County 24-inch water main to accommodate a new 5-million-gallon water tower

• More than doubling both of North Carolina’s Crowders Mountain State Park’s parking capacities.

Smaller specialty jobs include:

• Refurbishing Clemson’s Belle Baruch Coastal Ecology Center building for its 50th-anniversary celebration in 2018;

• Re-epoxying all food prep areas at the Columbia Zoo;

• Complete exterior window replacement for the Waccamaw Center for Mental Health

• Building, from the ground up, the Chester County’s new animal shelter.
