Peter B. Nash

Director of Finance and Development

Peter Nash has been exclusively active in the finance, development and construction of real estate for the past 44 years.

During the past 15 years, his focus has been primarily in civil and residential construction and land development in the York County, Calhoun County, and Charleston County regions of South Carolina.

 

Before this, Peter Nash spent 10 years (five living in London) as board member and partner in charge of capital strategies and execution for McArthurGlen Europe (“MGE”), the largest developer, owner and operator of factory outlet shopping centers in Europe. (www.McArthurGlen.com)

Peter’s primary responsibilities at McArthurGlen were to devise and execute the company’s capitalization strategies although he had a secondary role in site acquisition and feasibility.

The overall volume of financing included over £300 million (Sterling), €200 million Euro and in 2011, on a one-time assignment for $93 (Canadian) million of debt and over £400 million Sterling and €170 million Euro of outside equity placement.

 

Prior to the European business, Peter was co-founder, principal and partner in Cambridge Development and subsequently in Nash Development, two Washington, D.C. oriented real estate development and management companies which specialized in the 1980’s in suburban land development and industrial, flex-space and office building developments involving over 1 million square feet of finished space and over 200 acres of industrial land.

Prior to this, Peter was a partner at Leggat, McCall and Werner, a Boston based full service commercial real estate brokerage firm and an associate at Walker & Dunlop, Inc., a Washington based commercial real estate brokerage firm.

John Forkovitch

Director of Operations

Career Qualifications:

John Forkovitch is a complete construction project manager with over 47 years of experience in land development, single and multi-family, and light commercial vertical and horizontal construction. He was an owner/ manager / license holder of a Virginia Class A of electrical, plumbing and general contracting company (with masters plumbing and electrical licenses) doing business as Forkovitch Construction Company based out of Harrisonburg, Virginia

Professional Experience

May 1972 -June 2015

GC and complete project management responsibility for over 5,000 single and multi-family residential units; 40 light commercial building projects with a value of over $25 million; and horizontal work on a 350-acre 800-unit PUD in Santee, SC.

July 2015 - May 2017

John tried 27 months of retirement, the only job he completely failed at.

 

May 2017 - Present

John joined his old friend and former business partner, Peter Nash, to assist with the construction management and growth of RNF Construction, LLC. He has been instrumental since, with the assistance of Phillip Whitehead, an associate with the company, in growing the business from just over a half million-dollar annualized business to nearly $1.8 million in 2019. He is the Director of Operations and a co-owner of the company.

Phillip Whitehead

Career Qualifications

Phillip Whitehead is project manager with over 21 years of experience in Land Development and Single Family and Multi-Family construction on a variety of vertical and horizontal construction of projects in the Charlotte, NC region . He has a proven capability to manage multiple construction projects, keeping them on schedule and within budget.

Responsibilities include identifying and assessing prospective construction work opportunities; plan take-offs and cost estimating; bid preparation; award and contract management; and overall project management. Since joining the company, he has been responsible for over $2.5 Milllion in completed projects.

  • Review of plans with design engineers and consultants to value engineer projects.

  • Collect bids and proposals and schedules from General Contractors.

  • Manage construction of amenities and entranceways for communities.

  • Worked with Charlotte metro municipalities for permitting, bonding, platting, etc. for land development projects.

  • Worked with sales staff to mitigate final lot turnover issues.
